As an independent financial professional, Damon Walker believes that financial planning is about more than just investing. He takes his clients through a comprehensive financial planning process that focuses on achieving their unique long-term financial goals. Damon believes that education plays an important role in financial planning and strives to educate his clients throughout the financial planning process.

With over 18 years of experience in the investment, insurance and estate planning industry, and over 10 years as a Dave Ramsey SmartVestor Pro (Formerly ELP), Damon focuses on helping his clients minimize risk, and building a financial plan that best fits their financial life.

Damon received his Bachelor’s Degree from Coe College and a Master’s Degree from the University of South Dakota. He currently holds his series 6, 63, 66 and 7 licenses as well as his Health & Life Insurance license. Damon is also an Accredited Investment Fiduciary (AIF). Damon has served on the Dave Ramsey Smartvestor Council for 5 years, and is a Dave Ramsey SmartVestor Pro for Investing and an Endorsed Local Provider for Long Term Care Insurance.

Damon currently resides in Solon, Iowa with his wife Carolin and their sons Jackson and Lucas. In his free time, he enjoys running, travelling, fishing, golf, and outdoor activities.
